When disaster strikes your home or business, you don’t need a franchise call center or a crew that shows up and disappears. You need someone who actually cares — who picks up the phone, shows up fast, and sees the job through from the first emergency call to the final walkthrough.

That’s Disaster Masters. And that’s exactly why we built this company.

The Yancey family — Jake, Hudson, Hendrix, and Timie

Built by Someone Who’s Been in Your Shoes

Disaster Masters was founded in February 2021 by Jake Yancey — a Hot Springs, Arkansas native who spent years in the restoration industry before deciding to do it better.

Jake didn’t start this company to chase a market opportunity. He started it because he genuinely loves this work. There’s something about getting an emergency call at 2am, loading up the truck, and showing up to help a family through one of the worst nights of their lives — that never gets old. That sense of urgency, that chance to make something right when everything feels wrong — that’s what drives us every single day.

With over 50 combined years of restoration experience across our team, we’ve seen every kind of damage imaginable. Burst pipes. House fires. Mold that’s been growing behind walls for months. We know how to handle it, and we know how to handle it the right way.

Owner Operated. Start to Finish.

Most restoration companies subcontract pieces of the job. They handle the mitigation, hand the rebuild off to someone else, and leave you managing multiple contractors during the most stressful time of your life.

We don’t do that.

Disaster Masters is built to handle the entire restoration process — emergency response, water extraction and drying, mold remediation, contents pack-out and storage, and full reconstruction. One company. One point of contact. One team that sees your job through from the first call to the day you walk back into your restored home.

That’s not just more convenient for you — it means better outcomes, faster timelines, and fewer things that fall through the cracks.

IICRC Certified. Insurance Ready.

We are a certified firm through the IICRC — the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification. That’s the gold standard in our industry, and it means our team is trained to the highest technical standards for water damage, fire damage, and mold remediation.

We also work directly with all major insurance carriers. We speak the language of adjusters, we use Xactimate for estimating, and we document every job thoroughly so your claim moves fast and gets paid right. When you’re dealing with an insurance claim, the last thing you need is a restoration company that creates more paperwork problems than it solves.

We make it easy.
